School Games Mark
The School Games Mark is an awards scheme which rewards schools for their commitment to the development of competition across their school. We have a Gold Mark! To access photographs of Tatworth students participating click here.
School transport is used frequently in the school. The school has an extensive sports fixture list which involves frequent travel to other schools and there are the usual class trips organised throughout the year.
The school is sponsored by Hays Travel and this money goes towards subsidising the transport, in addition, this is further supplemented by money from the school budget. However the school is unable to cover the full costs of travel and we ask parents to support these expenses as well; this usually means paying 50% of the costs.
Sometimes we ask for parents to help with school transport particularly if there are only a small number of children involved in the event, however, we try to avoid doing this.
