VE Day 80th Anniversary
On Thursday, 8th May, our school community had a truly wonderful VE Day 80th celebration.  We dressed in red, white and blue or clothing of the era, enjoyed a fish and chip lunch (in a bag) and ended the day with a street party on the school field with musical accompaniment.

Our events embraced the 80th year VE celebrations with such commitment and a coming together to remember a significant moment in our shared history -Victory in Europe Day.  Marking the 80th anniversary this year, it was heart-warming to see the values we hold dear – community, respect, remembrance, and unity – so clearly reflected throughout the day.
