Car parking at the beginning and end of the day can be difficult as the school is situated on a very narrow road and is surrounded by houses. In order to ease congestion and to allow pedestrians to wait off the road, we open our main school gate and our bottom playground gate just before 8:40am each morning. We ask that parents/carers stay with their children until a member of staff arrives at 8:40am. We have an “arrival window” so all children should arrive between 8:40 and 8:50am when the gates shut.
To ease congestion at the front of school, we also open the back gate between 8:40 and 8:50am. This gate can be accessed from the public Playing Fields. The adjoining car park can be accessed via Kents Lane.
When parking near school, we kindly request that all parents/carers are mindful of our neighbours and avoid parking across entrances/driveways.
