We enjoyed a fantastic World Book Day on Thursday March 6th with a day full of activities including a parade to parents and carers.
A huge thank you to everyone for the community feel to our World Book Day celebrations. Well done for all the favourite character or author costumes – the parade was so lovely to share. Throughout the day, children took part in shared reading activities, a book scavenger hunt and they also wrote their own book reviews. After school and during the morning, we continued to celebrate the wonderful ‘Book in a Box’ creations, the shelfie quiz and will have been taking time to listen to a story and share a book.
